Flexo LED FCM: New development products

Shortly, R&D at Zeller+Gmelin will provide test products for press-tests in LED FCM flexo printing.

The inks are formulated for FCM applications. The designation “FCM” (Food contact material) introduced by the European Printing Ink Association EuPIA stands for products that are specially developed for the production of food packaging.

They are in particular developed for processing with energy-saving LED-UV lamps of all commercially available manufacturers in the wavelength ranges 385 and 395nm. However, they can also be cured with conventional UV mercury vapour lamps or LE-UV/HUV lamps.
