PROJECT TITLE:

Development of the technological standard of ready-made filter clothes to increase the productivity at Ferry Contact Ltd.

AMOUNT OF THE CONTRACTED ALLOCATION: HUF  24 500 000

EXTENT OF ALLOCATION (IN%): 43,11 %

THE PRESENTATION OF THE CONTENT OF THE PROJECT:

Zünd G3 XL 3200 digital cutting machine was purchased within the framework of the tender. With the purchase of the Zünd machine: it is possible to assemble special medical devices, because the laser cutting head ensures dust and damage-free cutting with millimeter accuracy. In the Healthcare segment, the equipment required for high-purity microfiltration must be completely particle-free. These include e.g. blood collection, infusion, dialysis equipment. In the automotive industry, e.g. the same is expected in the manufacture of fuel filters. Filters for injection-molded parts can also be made in this way, this is the market in which the development can open the way. Zünd’s automation and conveyor belt simplify this process. Different cutting technology is required for the milling, chemical, pharmaceutical and printing raw materials, with the interchangeable heads of the Zünd (UCT and laser) we have the opportunity to do so.

The filter insert is currently cut out using a hot-knife process with the direct participation of employees, during which our workers have to work in a mask against the released gases. The technology purchased does not require direct operator involvement due to the automated process.

In the field of printing technology, the parallel, rectangular cuts will be precise, from now on we can also serve our customers, to whom we have so far sold the rubber cloth as a raw material in rolls. Zünd’s automation and conveyor belt simplify and clarify this process. With regard to the raw materials for the milling, chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry and printing technology, different cutting technology is required, with Zünd’s interchangeable heads (UCT and laser) we have the opportunity to do so. We can reach new customers with new products in both the industrial electronics industry and the pharmaceutical industry with the help of the acquired technology.
